Kinderconcert NNO

Het Noord Nederlands Orkest (NNO) wil symfonische muziek toegankelijk maken voor jonge kinderen (3 tot 7 jaar). In dit kader is het NNO op zoek naar een concept voor een laagdrempelig kinderconcert.

Laagdrempelig in de breedste zin van het woord: betaalbaar en uitnodigend. Kinderen kunnen op een speelse manier kennis maken met klassieke muziek, het orkest, de instrumenten en de ruimte. Hoe zorg je dat kinderen zich vrij voelen en dingen durven uit te proberen? Aan alle studenten de taak om te onderzoeken hoe je zo’n concert kan organiseren en welke marketingstrategie daarvoor kan worden ingezet.

Zondag 15 juni is er een testconcert in de Kleine Zaal van De Oosterpoort, waarbij wij kijken hoe dit concept in de toekomst ontwikkeld kan worden voor het NNO en misschien wel festivals.

The Noord Nederlands Orkest (NNO) wants to make symphonic music accessible to young children (ages 3 to 7). In this context, the NNO is looking for a concept for a low-threshold children’s concert.

Low-threshold in the broadest sense of the word: affordable and inviting. Children should be able to discover classical music, the orchestra, the instruments, and the concert space in a playful way. How do you make sure children feel free and confident enough to try things out? It’s up to the students to explore how such a concert could be organized — and which marketing strategy would be most effective.

On Sunday, June 15, a test concert will take place in the Kleine Zaal of De Oosterpoort, where we’ll explore how this concept can be further developed for the NNO and possibly even for festivals.
