Sleepy Hollow
Step into a mysterious world filled with suspense and unravel the disappearance of Icha Kraan, a vlogger investigating the legend of the Headless Horseman. Through virtual reality, augmented reality, and interaction with live actors, you’ll uncover hidden clues that bring you closer to the truth. But beware: not everything is as it seems.
On Tuesday, February 11, visitors got to experience Sleepy Hollow in De Oosterpoort—a unique VR murder mystery that blurs the boundaries between reality and imagination. This innovative production by Studio Immersief, developed in collaboration with the European METAVENUES project, combines technology and theater to create an entirely new experience. The Creative Process
As Sleepy Hollow is still in development, attendees had the exclusive opportunity to test two scenes and provide feedback. Their input will contribute to the official release. As part of Sleepy Hollow, a virtual environment has also been created in the metaverse. Here, you can immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Sleepy Hollow through an interactive 3D treasure hunt, where participants got to explore the creator’s mindset while also having the chance to win tickets for the performance.
