‘’This will be my first ever acoustic solo tour and I will perform the songs alone on my guitars and a piano. The shows will hopefully feel relaxed and intimate, and I will try to talk a bit about the songs in between. You will get to hear the songs how they were made before they were arranged in the studio. I will also play some songs from the Low-Fi version of ‘Time on My Hands’ that was released earlier this year. I’m very much looking forward to trying this out and seeing how it goes. See you there!

Time on My Hands
Als één van de meest succesvolle exportproducten van IJsland heeft singer-songwriter Ásgeir de periode tussen zijn baanbrekende debuut (dat nu zijn 10-jarig jubileum viert) en vandaag de dag besteed aan het verleggen van de grenzen van zijn gelaagde, doordachte folk-pop. Zijn nieuwste album ‘Time On My Hands’, toont Ásgeir in een staat van zelfreflectie en experimentatie. Time on My Hands
As one of Iceland’s most successful exports, singer-songwriter Ásgeir has spent the period between his groundbreaking debut (which is now celebrating its 10th anniversary) and today pushing the boundaries of his layered, thoughtful folk-pop. His latest album, Time On My Hands, showcases Ásgeir in a state of self-reflection and experimentation. After years deeply immersed in writing, recording, translating, and producing, he has explored new compositional dimensions on this album, subtly blending acoustic elements with electronics and brass. Similar to some of his previous works, particularly in Afterglow from 2017 and Bury The Moon from 2020, Ásgeir plays with euphoric and choir-like elements of electronic pop music while firmly holding onto the introspective vocal style of the acoustic sound that made him famous.
