Kevin de Gier a.k.a. Slowflowanimal heeft zijn eigen, unieke stijl van muziek maken. De in Rotterdam geboren en getogen rapper, rapt in verhalende vorm over hoe hij het leven om zich heen ziet en wat hij zelf meemaakt. Met nummers als De Leven met S10 en Als Ik Je Niet Zie met Yade Lauren heeft hij ervaring met het domineren van de hitlijsten. Op zijn nieuwste project, mixtape ANIMALISTISCH, doet Kevin weer waar hij goed in is: slome flows met doordachte teksten, die worden afgewisseld met catchy refreintjes. En dat met features van Idaly, Nathan en Faberyayo.
Vanaf jongs af aan droomde Kevin van een voetbalcarrière bij Excelsior Rotterdam. Toen hij zestien was begon hij zich af te zetten van deze droom en ging hij steeds vaker op straat zijn grenzen opzoeken. Daar leerde hij een andere kant van zichzelf kennen die hem in de problemen bracht, maar ook energie en inspiratie gaf. Kevin liet niet lang op zich wachten en zorgde voor zijn eigen ontdekking. Sinds de release van zijn debuut EP ‘Kleine Versnelling’ in 2016, is hij niet meer weg te denken uit de Nederlandse hiphopscene. Na één dag stonden alle negen tracks in de Nederlandse Spotify Top 50.

Kevin de Gier, also known as Slowflowanimal, has his own unique style of making music. The rapper, born and raised in Rotterdam, raps in a storytelling manner about how he perceives the world around him and what he experiences personally. From a young age, Kevin dreamed of a football career at Excelsior Rotterdam. When he was sixteen, he began distancing himself from this dream and started exploring his boundaries on the streets more often. There, he discovered another side of himself that got him into trouble but also provided energy and inspiration. Kevin didn’t take long to make his own breakthrough. Since the release of his debut EP Kleine Versnelling in 2016, he has become an undeniable figure in the Dutch hip-hop scene. Within one day, all nine tracks were in the Dutch Spotify Top 50.
