De Ierse singer-songwriter Luka Bloom was vorig jaar al 51 jaar aan de slag als liedjesschrijver en -vertolker en dat was dan ook de aanleiding om in de zomer van 2022 maar liefst 51 songs (opnieuw) op te nemen, die hij in de loop van die 51 jaar schreef: meteen ook de kapstok waar hij zijn concert bij ons aan ophangt. De driedubbele plaat en het concert dragen dezelfde titel: “Wave Up to the Shore: 51 songs for 51 years”.
Gewapend met zijn akoestische gitaar en zijn geweldige stem steekt Luka Bloom elk publiek in zijn achterzak. Irish singer-songwriter Luka Bloom had already been working as a songwriter and performer for 51 years last year, which was the reason for recording a whopping 51 songs (again) in the summer of 2022, songs he had written over the course of those 51 years. This triple album and concert share the same title: “Wave Up to the Shore: 51 songs for 51 years.”
