Een zangeres die algemeen erkend wordt als hét traditionele zangtalent van haar generatie, vier top-instrumentalisten, warmte, humor, passie én een doorleefd begrip van de Ierse muziektradities, vormen samen de lekkerste ingrediënten voor een fantastische Ierse folk avond! Raw Bar Collective komt bovendien voor de eerste keer naar Nederland en geeft daar slechts één concert, hun Nederlandse debuut vindt daarmee plaats in De Oosterpoort!
Benny McCarthy (trekharmonica), Dave Sheridan (fiddle), Colm Murphy (bodhrán), Conal O‘Grada (fluit) en Nell Ní Chróinín (vocals) vormen gezamenlijk een combinatie van talenten die je maar zelden tegenkomt. McCarthy was twee keer eerder in Groningen te zien: met het project Pure Irish Drops en met Danú, de Ierse band waar Nell Ní Chróinín sinds kort de zangeres van is.
Raw Bar Collective staat voor een avond lang genieten van het relaxte Ierland gevoel waarbij je wordt meegenomen door het beste dat de Ierse folk scene te bieden heeft.
Dit concert is in samenwerking met Stichting Folk Groningen.

Raw Bar collective will meet The Netherlands for the first time and is giving just one concert: in De Oosterpoort!
Benny McCarthy (accordion), Dave Sheridan (fiddle), Colm Murphy (bodhrán) Conal O’Grada (flute) and Nell Ní Chróinín (vocals) together vorm a combination of talents that one rarely encounter. McCarthy was previously seen in Groningen with the project Pure Irish Drops and Danú, the Irish band of Nell Ní Chróinín.
Raw Bar Collective stands for a long night of enjoying the relaxed feeling of Ireland where you’ll be taken through.
