Steve Von Till, zanger en gitarist van het invloedrijke Neurosis, komt op zaterdag 8 juni naar De Oosterpoort met zijn nieuwe album Alone In A World Of Wounds.
Op dit zevende soloalbum kiest hij voor een andere richting: melancholische americana, drones en ambient worden samengebracht met slepende cello-arrangementen. De muziek ademt een diepe verbondenheid met de natuur en reflecteert op verlies, intuïtie en creativiteit. Live wordt Von Till vergezeld door Dave French (synths, percussie, bas) en Brent Arnold of Michaela Lilla Bos op cello. Fans van onder meer Nick Cave, Talk Talk en Low vinden hier veel om in weg te zinken.
